Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

because I read something that said the show would be introducing "supernatural elements" (though I have no idea what that would look like).

It would almost have to be Sabrina, wouldn't it? Unless the showrunner is actually going to make the show pivot and go in an Afterlife with Archie direction...

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

I didn't want to potentially give a spoiler. Molly's status in life changed drastically.

Ah, that. You might be behind by 2 books, maybe? Or 3?

It would almost have to be Sabrina, wouldn't it?

The spoiler I saw was super vague, but it really seems like it has to be Sabrina.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

The Grimm finale was quite satisfying. It's really unusual for a show to manage such a full circle story. Right about the time in the series when I wondered if they had forgotten the keys they picked up that thread again and what the keys lead to was integral to the end. Nice.

I quit the show a year or two ago when they had the protagonist take up housekeeping with the woman who'd raped him and the resultant child. Did they ever address how problematic that was?

No, they pretty much glossed over that.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

It's weird to be watching Legends of Tomorrow and then getting an ad for Prison Break.

I really wonder who's responsible for Legends' course correction this season. They're nailing the humor, especially, with Snart sniping at Thawne about monologuing, or Darke making funny faces in the background while people get beat up, or Rip perfecting his fondant.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I quit the show a year or two ago when they had the protagonist take up housekeeping with the woman who'd raped him and the resultant child.

Wait, that happened on Grimm? That's gross. What happened to the woman who was his girlfriend in the beginning?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Zenkitty,

As a result of a spell to get Nick's powers back(the rape was Adeline disguising herself as Juliet with a spell to take away Nick's powers when they had sex), Juliette became a hexenbiest and went full tilt evil. She was killed and brought back as an emotionless assassin.

Really.

I'm assuming the emotionless aspect was due to a realistic assessment of Bitsie Tulloch's acting capabilities.
