And wow, Legends was actually good and plotty and serious last night.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I just watched Legends on the app because my DVR screwed up, and right before the final segment they showed a commercial for next week's episode that spoiled the end of this week's episode. So annoying. But it was very good.
So do we think Vigilante is Dolph Lundgren?
That didn't occur to me! Vigilante looks a little too lean for Lundgren's bulk. Especially his shoulders.
I watched the first episode of The Magicians tonight, and it took like 20 minutes for me to realize that it's based on the Lev Grossman book - which I've read, and didn't particularly enjoy. That said, I didn't hate the episode. Would y'all recommend to keep watching??
Finally caught up on the CW DC-verse again.
The Flash musical was fun, though we definitely could have stood to have more signing from the three dads.
I can't understand a word Dolph says on Arrow. I have a lot of trouble with certain accents in general, but he might as well actually be speaking Russian. I imagine his character would be a lot more interesting if I knew what he was saying. Wasn't expecting him to still be alive, though.
Anatoly is still the best.
Apparently Ollie needs (in addition to lots of therapy) to get Nyssa on the phone and tell her to explain to her sister what went down with their father's death.
I can't understand a word Dolph says on Arrow.
Me, neither! I'm about 50-50 on the generic Bratva/other Russian goons, and I understand about 90% of what Anatoly says. But Dolph says his lines through a mouthful of marbles.
Watched episodes two and three. Like some back discussion I see here, seems like the series is more enjoyable than the book. Enjoying it!
I don't recall him enunciating very clearly when playing American characters either. Brain of a scholar and scientist, mouth of Moose Mason.

Yeah, I was just basing it on the law of conservation of characters.
Zuisa, I've never read the books, but I'm enjoying the tv show. FWIW. Amyth got me into it, and I found it very binge-able.
