I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

And do they not realize that Harry is using his gorilla voice?

Okay, I guess he wasn't. Maybe it was his attempt at distinguishing Harry from H.R.

Is Chase still the D.A. while acting as Oliver's lawyer? Is that...supposed to work somehow?

I am now rooting for Thea as next season's villain.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Was there a LoT this week that my dvr missed?

I am now rooting for Thea as next season's villain.

That would be cool, since they seem to have run out of things to do with her this season.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

There was no LoT this week, which is sad because that's the Arrowverse show I most look forward to.(Mostly because it's silly and revels in its silliness) It'll be back next week.

Okay, Arrow surprised me with Prometheus. But now I want to know who the damn vigilante is. My whack-ass theory is that it's Curtis's soon to be ex-husband Paul. (And who arranges dinner at a nice restaurant to give someone divorce papers, seriously?)

Steph, I read recently that Vigiilante would not be unmasked this season. Does that need to be spoiler fonted? But I like your theory.

I read recently that Vigiilante would not be unmasked this season.

That would be so damn frustrating.

I...did not know that Supergirl was going to guest-star Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo. Are they just pillaging old sci-fi shows? (And really, did we have to employ the dickhead?)

I am really tired of everyone on The Flash being so goddamn stupid. When Barry said "I know what I'm doing," I would have paid good money for the entire STAR Labs crew to burst out laughing. Because he NEVER knows what he's doing. And what's with just standing and watching as Wally is *slowly* being pulled into the Speed Force? (Never mind that Jessie Quick ALSO could have run the hell over there, too, but everyone on this show is suffering from fatal stupidity.)

And -- putting aside the issue of whether Iris and Barry being engaged would ACTUALLY change the future -- Iris decides to break off the engagement, theoretically sealing her future fate of being a kabob? What the actual SHIT, Iris? I know people who got married sooner than they had planned/wanted so one of them could get on the other's health insurance (hell, I almost did that). So, you know, maybe just go with getting married so YOU DON'T DIE, IRIS WHAT THE HELL. But no, let's continue to make Iris as fatally stupid as the rest of the cast.

And -- Jessie couldn't help Barry and Wally because she was squeeing over Iris's Engagement Ring of Deception? JUST STOP WRITERS YOU ARE MAKING MY BLOOD PRESSURE HIT STROKE LEVEL. (I also give a HUGE stinkeye to the "You didn't ask me for permission, Barry!" bullshit from Joe. STOP IT JOE THIS IS 2017.)

In conclusion, what the shit, show.

Oh, wait. Savitar is future Barry, right? I mean, he said it like 3 times last night. "I am the future, Flash." I don't think that comma belongs after "future." For real. I'm pretty sure that seeing Iris get killed is what turns Barry into Savitar. (Though that's a whole timeline conundrum that makes my head hurt.) Still, I'm serious. I think Savitar is future Barry.
