Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Oh, my god, Oliver. You have literally the worst judgment.
His plans are worse than John Crichton's plans, and I don't say that lightly.
I just saw Janeway be a total badass as her ship was burning around her, saving her people and sacrificing her own life (temporarily due to timey-wimey things). Good stuff! There's something about a bunch of people in a tough situation using logic, science, and compassion to move forward, all led by a tough middle-aged woman, that's feeding an emotional need for me right now.
I loved Voyager, especially Janeway. Major girlcrush back in the day.
The 100: Not as good this season, but I'm still here for it. Really enjoyed first 2 seasons. As much as I'm glad that Octavia didn't die, that was ridiculous.
Xena reboot: Glad to hear it's not dead yet! Xena better not be some skinny generic actress...
Xena's husband is one of the creators, so I don't think there's much chance of that.
Oh, my god, Oliver. You have literally the worst judgment.
It's why I had to fire the show. I got tired of him (and to be fair, everyone else) making stupid decisions.
I fired the Berlantiverse because of that. It's like they don't know how to move the plot forward without the stupid.
I'm really not feeling it for Arrow this season, but I'm still watching.
I'm still good with the Flash, because of basically all the supporting characters (but damn, Barry pulls some stupid shit). And honestly, they went to Gorilla City this week. I would have loved that no matter how stupid Barry was.
Also, I'm impressed that Tom Cavanagh could deliver Grodd's melodramatic supervillain dialogue without sounding ridiculous. I'm starting to suspect this whole series is just a vehicle to see how many roles they can get Cavanagh into. Which is fine by me. (There was a tiny flashback of Earth-1 Original Wells, then Thawne-as-Well, Earth-2 Harry, H.R. Wells, and also Grodd-speaking-through-Earth-2-Harry. Did I miss any?)
The brief characters he played when they were searching for a new Wells, before they settled on H.R.
Ha! Right, like the mime one. I totally forgot those!
So I just realized that I missed an entire episode of Arrow and didn't notice.
