Thanks to you and Anny discussing it, I've started watching The Magicians. So far, the first episode is really good.

And super slashable.

ETA: This looks like it's aimed at everyone who was secretly disappointed that their Hogwarts invitation never arrived on their 11th birthday. Not so throw shade. If HP had come out when I was younger, I would have chained myself to my mailbox at 5 to midnight before my 11th birthday.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

Man, I keep seeing rave reviews for this season, but I am not feeling it. I don't hate it, but it feels really aimless (and plotless). I don't care at all about Prometheus (who I still think isn't the previously unknown son of a heretofore unmentioned dude who Ollie took out in S1), which I think is a huge problem.

I keep seeing rave reviews for this season

Seriously? I don't get that at all. I'm definitely enjoying it least out of the DC shows. The stuff with the new protegees ranges from fine to occasionally great, but there's no sense of tension for the overall season.

Is anyone else not feeling the new Sleepy Hollow? I now know that a great part of what I liked about the show was Crane and Abbie interacting and his wonder at the new world. I realized it when I enjoyed the 2 minutes of Crane talking to Abbie's grave more than I'd enjoyed the entire season.

I decided to quit the show when Beharie left. I was a little tempted when I found out Janina Gavankar is on it since I've worked with her, but I haven't had time for it.
