A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I really really liked the first three episodes of Andor ! It's written by Tony Gilroy, who wrote Rogue One, the Bourne movies, and... The Cutting Edge. !!! Anyway it's very well done and so far after three episodes there are no space wizards.

I am struggling with The Rings of Power, as they are playing very fast and loose with both the timeline and the mythology. But it is very pretty.

Our wings are not tired.

Also, why do the whole B storyline with the girl bringing her brother back from the dead without actually connecting it to the rest of the story somehow.

It is so important in the books, but they just don't go that far in the series. That was a huge disappointment for me. I was watching with DH and a friend and had to deal with controlling myself from saying ....but but but in the books... nonstop.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The actors who play Holden, Amos, and Fred were at DC this year, and a couple of times when people asked about the end of the show, they were like, "What makes you so sure this is the end?" No plans for anything concrete, but it sounds like they're still pushing for a continuation or a wrap-up movie.

I look every once and a while as it is tragic they didn't get to the later books, but it sounds like no one wants to pay for it. I'm confident the production costs were considerable.

Interesting. I guess I should read them at some point.

I was talking about the finale with TCG, and we both felt the they should have wrapped up Marco's storyline in the previous season and spent the last season on the ring and proto molecule stuff.

Is anyone watching Reginald the Vampire? I’m finding it entertaining so far.

Compassionately intolerant

I'm loving Reginald. The writing is snappy and the leads are just so Ted-Lasso-endearing.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Well that was an unexpected thing. (Doctor Who.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Doctor Who: So, I realized that I had never gotten around to watching The Legend of the Sea Devils, so I finally did that (and liked it!) and now I see that the new episode or special or whatever you call it is 2 hours long and I don’t feel up to that so I’m putting that off a bit longer but it has been impossible to avoid being spoiled meanwhile. Not by any of you, of course, but bah. And possibly humbug.

Now that I have actually watched - that was pretty wacky and madcap
