Vagrant Queen: I'm watching right now, and I can't tell if it is so bad it's good or just bad.
Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Vagrant Queen: I'm watching right now, and I can't tell if it is so bad it's good or just bad.
Oh dear, that's what I was afraid of.
From the trailer I got a Killjoys meets Cleopatra 2525 vibe, which lines up pretty well with that.
I only watched a little bit so far, but that artifact she pinched in the open? I have an LED camping lantern that looks exactly like it, and even opens the same way.
SyFy put the first episode of Vagrant Queen up on YouTube.
We're up to the Ooops, Threesome! episode of The Magicians*, and Tim said "Okay, cheating on your partner is not cool...but they are so damn hot, I'd fuck them."
Me: "Same, baby. Hard same."
We are very shallow.
*I'm up to the finale of S2 on my own, because Tim worked nights last week and the only thing that could get my mind off the goddamn pandemic was multiple episodes a night.
I watched the first episode of Kingdom the other night and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and how easy it was to become absorbed in the story. I think I'd be enjoying it even if there weren't any fantastical elements.
Mini-donuts: Did J.K. Rowling BUY the SyFy network? Every time I channel surf past or look at a programming guide it's playing one of the Harry Potter movies.
Oh, you guys, The Magicians. I miss them already.
What the fuck, S3 finale of The Magicians? WHAT THE FUCK.
(I mean, I'll be honest: I'm spoiled all the way through the end of the series. Even so, seeing the Monster in Eliot was fucked up.)
