Whever is saying that is contradicting what we saw on screen. They specifically showed Brandon Routh as Superman flying in orbit with a little Earth-96 caption onscreen at the end of the crossover.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
That's the only conclusion I can reach, but it seems like a weird decision to have the characters believe something so huge that only the audience knows is not true.
I was mostly ignoring it until it Flash made such a big deal about it this week.
The Arrowverse wiki says:
With the rebirth of the multiverse, some things changed. Earths are now separated by something other than vibrational frequencies. As such, the residents of Earth-Prime with knowledge of the pre-crisis timeline appear to be unaware of the new multiverse's existence and still believe it is destroyed.
So I guess it will eventually be addressed in-universe?

Which I guess is why Cisco's powers aren't working again?

Hopefully, because right now it's annoying.

Handwavium is a harsh mistress.
Heh.
I am curious about what is going to happen in the next episode with Alice/Beth. I am expecting it to be heartbreaking.
It kind of mirrors the cosmology of the multiverse in the comics, though. After Crisis everything was supposed to be one singular Earth, but it was (much) later revealed that there were still parallel worlds all over the place, just in a different relative state/connection to the prime universe.
Thanks, Matt. I haven't read the Crisis comics. So, I was very confused as to what was happening.
I haven't watched The Flash in years, but I am very amused that the title of the Feb 25th episode is Grodd Friended Me.
Tonight's episode of The Flash was painfully bad. Although, Katee Sackhoff did her best with what she was given.
