A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I don't think I ever got what was going on with the Lady or the Green and I sure don't understand the business with Pip, but I sure love these characters.
I appreciated how the writers were willing to throw away any semblance of a rational mythology to shoehorn in a happy ending for everyone I cared about.
I am quite willing to accept that explanation for everything
Yeah, I kind of wondered if that was a sort of last-minute, we're not getting renewed thing. The Ashmore (Aaron, I think) said at DragonCon a year ago that this season would be their last, but I don't know how far into writing/filming it they were at that point.
They knew this would be the final season 2 years ago. So, not rushed. I enjoyed the finale quite a bit, especially the last shot.
Even the ship ended up happy, flying away with Johnny Jacoby.
Not really sure how Pip returned, but it was nice to see him again.

Huh, really? Well in that case I'm less impressed but still pretty satisfied.
Yes, they were renewed for 2 final seasons when Dark Matter was cancelled.
And yet they seemed to go out of their way to leave a lot of things open if they come back or spinoff or something. I'm not mad about it, just kind of curious about the decisions behind all that.
I'm looking forward to the new season of Black Lightning starting tonight ... and Riverdale on Wednesday.
I stopped watching Black Lightning after Tobias Whale ripped Khalil's freaking spine (okay, the implant) out of his back. How did the season end up? I might want to start watching it again.
And I'm ready for my trash fire show Riverdale to be back (although it doesn't belong in this thread).
