Sam Esmail from Mr. Robot is doing a Battlestar Galactica reboot that nobody wanted or asked for.
NO
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

If they were rebooting the lasers and capes version it might be worth it for a laugh, but I see no reason to revisit the 2004 version, which it sounds like they're doing.
From io9: In the wake of this morning's news, Esmail took to Twitter to clarify his show is not a remake of the 2004 series, or seemingly even the 1978 version. Instead, it is a "new story within the mythology"
Dunno
In other words, Caprica.
Why not a remake of Buck Rogers or Logan's Run? Mumble mumble people keep going back to same trough mumble mumble.
How about an Alien Nation TV-series reboot? I think you could use that show to make a lot of commentary on our current political climate.
Karl Urban as Sikes. Hell, get Michael Ealy to play George so we get the two of them having cop car conversations again, which were the best part of Almost Human.
V!
I already lived through two V incarnations. No more, please. But I'll vote for Urban + Ealy cop convos anytime.
Oh right! I forgot they rebooted it already. I didn't watch the reboot.
I think Urban is my favorite currently working genre actor. Dude is in everything and always enjoyable.
