Yeah, I could do that, but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I watched it, and i've read the first book in the trilogy. Goode matches my mental picture of Clairmont rather well. It's fun to see Alex Kingston and Louise Breasley on my tv again.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I'm not sure where to put this, but here might be right. Am I the last to find out that the original radio series of HHGTtG is available as an audiobook? Or as 4 audiobooks, I should say.

I'm pretty excited.

You might well be the last to find out. My BBC audio CDs of the first two radio series are from 1996....

So yeah, they original series have been available for a while, and the new radio versions of the remaining books came out in the early 2000s. I believe there are also audiobook recordings of Douglas Adams reading the books themselves.

I had them on vinyl back in the day, but they weren't exactly the same as the cassettes I had recorded off the radio (which, of course, expired a long time ago). So I'm going to glare a little bit at everyone for not telling me there were digital versions available.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

May I point out that a new season of iZombie starts Thursday night? and a new season of The 100 - on a whole new planet! - started Tuesday.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

And if anyone is interested in Roswell, New Mexico, the full season hit Netflix today.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

THE 100 IS BACK! Oh, I love these hopelessly embattled kids so much.

I haven't watched the 100. Am I missing out?

Thanks for the heads up on iZombie! I still really like that show.

I binge-watched the first 3 or 4 seasons (whatever was available on Netflix at the time) and I found it completely addictive, if punishing. It's kind of an endless stream of characters constantly being backed into corners where the only way out is MORE TERRIBLE DECISIONS.

So if you're into shows where occasionally people make good choices and things work out for them...this is not that.
