Hey, it's Rip! Maybe he'll have had a personality transplant.

Boxed Set, Vol. VI: I am not a number, I am a free thread!
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
TARDIS Eruditorum argues that the Doctor frequently doesn't so much travel to times or places as into different stories(Frequently a horror movie of some kind). Legends has started including this in what it lifts from Who; they've done a Western twice, and this week, of course, was "The Untouchables"....
And apparently next year our heroes are going to wind up on the set of a movie based on their own adventures. You realize it used to take YEARS for a show to get this self-referential?

And coincidentally, Doctor Who has also done a Western twice.
The Librarians: I laughed that it was the swim team having all the good luck at the beginning of the episode.
Yeah, I made a "Go Fish" joke near the beginning of The Librarians.
I'm about halfway through Season 1 of The Magicians on Netflix, and I'm really enjoying it. (esp. since it's uncensored). Although, having the bland white guy be the protagonist/audience proxy is kind of tired, and the show would be way better with Penny as the main character.
Did you read the book(s)? I'm curious if it's basically the same, or if they're just using the books as a jumping-off point.
From what I hear, the books are way different, but most of the people who read the books seem to be OK with the changes.
Hmm, now I want to watch it. Time to definitely not use my brother's Netflix account. (The shows he watches on my Hulu account make me laugh, but he doesn't make fun of me for having OG Beverly Hills 90210 in my watchlist, so it's all good.)
I am also at hmmm. I mean, I'm not surprised they had to make changes, given the pace of the book. Hmmm.
