Today I decide I will go online and buy a new pair, and I find the card...and it has the salesperson's name on it but I SWEAR I thought he'd also written the style/size on it, and it's not there! WTF.
Oh, that's annoying!
I'm like 70% sure the guy made a mistake, but at this point I don't want to deal with him any more so I think we'll just pay what he says and then file an amended return if it turns out I'm right and we're owed money back.
That is also annoying!
I've said it before, and I'll probably say it again in the future: having your birthday during Passover sucks.
That is ALSO annoying! But happy birthday, anyway? Have a cake on Wednesday?
If he did make a mistake can you get whatever you paid him, back?
I hope so! (And next year I will plan ahead and find an accountant who understands tech company salaries and freelancers. This guy is incredibly sweet, but he was not prepared for our paperwork.)
I bought myself a couple bathing suits as a reward for doing these very annoying tax returns.
OK, at 9999 I gotta have it!
AAAAAAND 10K!
(Bathing suits as a reward? Clearly you live in Florida, Laura...sigh)
I bet, Sheryl!
Nice, Laura.
I ventured outside! Went to the library and the grocery store and it was ok, but now I am tired.
Foiling meara from the palindromic numberslut, bwahaha
I started looking for a library book online, but somehow now I have too many library options, and it was overwhelming!
We owe so much in personal taxes very unexpectedly this year (SO MUCH) and it's come completely out of the blue due to some misunderstandings on our part. So yeah. The past few days have been pretty shitty since the money is coming out of the maybe-someday-we-can-buy-a-house fund, which is swiftly turning into a we-will-never-own-a-house reality.
Oh no, Pix! I'm so sorry. That's rough.
