Wesley: All right. I'm going to let you all in on something you may have trouble comprehending. I assure you however-- Gunn: Vampires are real. Wesley: I was telling!

Our wings are not tired.

Baby Giraffe Cam! Spoiler: That was a lot of amniotic fluid! If you missed it just back up about 20 minutes or so. [link]

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Baby giraffe! !1

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Yay April and Baby! Yay more retirement benefits, Sumi.

I am listening to a podcast called The Shipping Room, and they had an episode about Joss Whedon ships. When they were talking about Tara's death, they said that everyone was surprised and there were no spoilers for it, and even that there was no way to get spoilers back in the day.

It made me laugh, because I was accidentally spoiled for Tara's death by IMDB, which listed a end date for Amber Benson before the episode aired! David very nicely made up something to convince me that it could be wrong and allow me to enjoy the episode. So, thanks David!

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I was spoiled too, but I can't remember if it was because the episode had already aired in the U.S., and I hadn't seen it, or if maybe it was when it was airing a day earlier in Canada.

I was so annoyed. I am not generally spoiler averse, but one of my favorite things about Buffy was unspoiled speculation on the board so I tried so hard to avoid things-- and IMDB seemed so innocuous a site to visit!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Wasn't spoiled on Buffy events, but I did get spoiled for Babylon 5 back in the day. That was when the last few eps of one season aired in England before they aired here, and some folks decided turnabout was fair play.(as they had gotten spoiled by Yanks when eps aired here first)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Phew! Had choir rehearsal, saw my father, went out to lunch, then home for a tiny bit of yardwork, a small walk, and the supermarket, and now I think I'm done. It's so nice out, though -- maybe I'll go sit on the porch.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Out early for breakfast, then we braved Target to buy one kazillion plastic bins of various sizes. Now home and packing, packing, packing. Will we have our home ready for photos on Tuesday and the Open House next weekend? Who knows? Not us--we're a teensy bit overwhelmed and feel like we will NEVER be ready.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Went up to Capay for a farm tour 5k with mom, which was lovely and an excellent opportunity to stock up on delicious stuff, but as we were passing the beehives one poor bee somehow got trapped under the bridge of my sunglasses and naturally stung me. I'm fine, just look a little grotesque with the swelling.

I could do with a little less excitement on Saturdays, frankly.

You will get there, Scrappy!

Yikes, -t. Less excitement sounds about right.
