Random dream report: So I had a most vivid dream that starred a SO of an inactive Buffista, who I see all the time on FB. Anyway, it was like family tech support hell, except I am pretty darn sure these are technically proficient people. Characters are SO and IB. SO is extremely frustrated because she keeps going on her social media websites and finds that they aren't where she left off. After some discussion I determine that she shares a user name with IB. Commence countless circular conversations on why this won't work. Try and bring IB into the conversation, but he isn't concerned. I woke up so annoyed because I was trying so hard to be polite but she just wasn't getting why she had to have her own user name. It wasn't like a usual stupid user where I could just say 'do it this way' and not get any argument. She was stuck in wanting it to be her way no matter how illogical.
Seriously, this dream was several days ago and it still bugs me.
Sheryl, I hope you're enjoying some quiet time to yourself.
I had a particularly violent and disturbing dream. I blame my D&D game last night, which involved zombies and a DM and party members who were going for gore points.
{{Gud}}
I had to look up United. WTF?
Hope you are enjoying some rest and relaxation, Sheryl!
-t, I'm so sorry for the sick, but I marvel at your timing.
Liese, wishing you, Dave, and the Biscuit all good things going forward.
msbelle, I hope you're feeling better, and I'm sorry your relaxing day turned out so badly.
Gud, I also marvel at your industry over the weekend, and share the Buffista view that it's not your fault that you didn't (don't) read your wife's mind. Communication goes both ways, and she's obligated to do her part.
Sends good-dreams vibes to all Buffistas, along with bad dreams begone vibes.
I'm glad you get some relaxing time, Sheryl.
I read about people's dreams here and, well, I almost never remember my dreams. I assume I DO dream - once in a while I'll wake up in the middle of one and know what it was - but mostly I don't. So imagine how confused I was when I woke up Saturday with crystal clear memories of what I'd dreamed ... until I realized that what I remembered was the plot of the book I was reading before I went to sleep.
I was hoping post nap would be better, but ltc is just not listening today.
oh, I saw this earlier. It's a podcast called Knit 1, Geek 2 ... seemed relevant to the interests of some of the Buffistas.
