Spike? It's you. It's really you! My therapist thought I was holding on to false hope, but…I knew you'd come back. You're like…you're like Gandalf the White, resurrected from the pit of the Balrog, more beautiful than ever. Oh…he's alive Frodo. He's alive.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I think I'm leaning toward the first one. It does leave more table space. I think I'll have to go to the store though. The website can't seem to math. Subtotal $99.99, Discount -$20, Total $194.98?

dcp, with this bulb [link] shadows from framing close to the source aren't quite as distinct as with a traditional incandescent. Plus I love that it fades up and down even with a regular switch.

I don't really know what that means, aurelia, but it sure sounds good! The fading and framing, I mean, the website's screwy "discounting" nsm.

I just found my debit card! Hooray! It was under the ottoman, where I have only looked 5000 times - I wasn't looking for it this time, it just caught my eye - so presumably it has been in another dimension or parallel universe and just popped back.

And now that I've browsed the Nanoleaf site I'm a little smitten with the Aurora. It's pricy, but I could program a "sunrise" for all those dark winter mornings that I have so much trouble with. Hmm.

Ooh.

I definitely should not look at that.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I went grocery shopping so I'm set for Tuesday with my favorite stress treat for Election Night, Edy's French Silk ice cream. and Lambrusco if I get to celebrate. I don't really like bubbly wines much, so Lambrusco is my go to for celebrations.

My superstition is wondering if I can bring a bottle of bubbly to the friends who invited me over to watch results. Having it in the fridge seems fine, but bringing it to a party? Yikes.

Ah, Lambrusco, wine of my youth.

Our wings are not tired.

I am sad. My favorite fresh produce store held a Trump rally. Seriously, why do that to me.

The Trump sign I saw outside my apartment complex is gone. I suspect management doesn't want any signs near the property. Yay. I've seen some Hilary bumper stickers, but no signs.
