I have to get up and leave the house at 3:20 tomorrow morning. This is bad. Except this will end with me in Colorado, skiing in the mountains at my brother's fabulous house. There will be nephews and wine and skiing.

Except to get there, I have to get up before 3.

And before then, I have to make up the futon in the guest room, which is where I am sitting and watching Colbert videos on Youtube.

dcp, unsure. Originally planned to do it with my uncle on his family farmland, but he died. Kinda feeling a pall.

I'm not sure if it's black leather in general, I think it might be the cut of that jacket. I definitely like the idea of the look.

So far so good with the dog. Was a little work getting to realize that he was not allowed to sleep in the bed with me (I'm apparently heartless? But just no) and I completely underestimated how much of a pain it is to take a dog outside to do his business when you live in a 6th floor apartment.

I had dinner with a friend last night and it was delicious. Lemony chicken and Brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes! And wine. And Trader Joe dessert. That was my contribution.
