I'd share a room with mom if it were the two of us. Dad is deal breaker. Never. Them as a couple is as well (their fussing at each other is cute...if you can run from it.) Dad in my home requires a shitton of forbearance for 2100 sq ft, never thinking a room.

An Alaskan trip sounds fun, sarameg, but I totally get the "nope" on sharing a room with your parents. I had to put my foot down on that with mine once I hit my 30s.

I'm trying to decide if it is worthwhile to walk 15 minutes each way to meet someone for 15 minutes. It sounds like no, but I think the face-to-face time with this person might be worthwhile for future emailing. Hmmmm. I guess I can ask my boss what her take is.

I have a business meeting this weekend in Montreal, and due to a snafu, I may not have a room in the hotel. This is not optimal.
