Just found out we've pronouncing our new street name wrong.
Really? What are the pronunciations, correct and incorrect?
I grew up on Munal Dr and no one who lived on it knew what was right so we all just said it however. Main Street is easy that way.
Ugh, I'm exhausted because I stayed up too late goofing around after I finished my Stanford course and took the final exam. I got 100% on my final! And then I signed up for the next course because I need to complete two more in the next few months to qualify for certification.
And THEN my manager tells me about some new opportunities that are opening up on another product, and he's encouraging me to apply. So now I get to flail around while I figure out what I want to do with my life.
Woo 100%! Good luck with the flailing.
It's got a "CH" in the middle of it. We thought it was pronounced as a hard K, as in "echo", but it's apparently pronounced as a "tch" as in "itch."
I live near Denise Rd. Pronounced dee-NICE. That is in a part of the city called Charlotte. Pronounce shar-LOT. Or if you are older shalott.
I grew up on a street called Himoor Circle. It's like high-moor. I knew from about the age of 6 that if I told someone what street I lived on, I had to spell it right away.
Happy flailing, shrift.
I'm still waiting to hear if the new opening at my job is going to happen or not.
