This was not the night I needed a kid to barf in the pool.

"In the equation E = mc⬧, c⬧ is a pretty big honking number." - Scola

Is there such a night?

Sorry, that was unnecessarily flippant. What's going on that made the pool-barf more than usually I'll-timed?

Our wings are not tired.

Which mirrors a lot of people I heard during the election who refused to vote for Hilary because she didn't go far enough. Many cut-off noses laying in the street.

True.

It is a sense of relief to me that the Republicans are nearly as dysfunctional now with their control as they were previously. They are getting some awful things done, but the huge things like healthcare, infrastructure, and tax reform will have to be done in a bi-partisan system. The far right and the far left won't get anything done. So it is either get nothing big done or work with the middle. Not sure which way it will go.

Also, just noting that Rep. Joe Kennedy is really adorable. t old Irish motherly observation

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey Emily!

Also, just noting that Rep. Joe Kennedy is really adorable.

It's true. (I have to call him the New Joe Kennedy, because his father was my congressman back in the day.)

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

And the previous Joe Kennedy was the old New Joe Kennedy. I mean, I love 'em, but can they get some new names?

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I'm eating an apple with peanut butter and catching up on the last few days of Natter.

Are people talking about Feud: Bette and Joan anywhere? (Susan Sarandon is killing it, btw.)

I haven't been watching (yet), but it should be Minearverse, right? It is a Tim show.

Got an e-mail about cars from my employee benefits thing. Looks like I get about a thousand bucks off new cars.

You get different benefits than I do. I get a lot of "Industry Night" offers for shows at other theatres.

Sarameg, that was a lot of electrical badness.

My right calf has been seriously tight, just shy of cramping, since last weekend. I really wish I could figure out how to make that stop. I'm going to bruise the hell out of my leg trying to massage it out.

It's true. For as many kids as they all had, there are not enough names.

Oh no, Sophia! I would probably have to move in that case.

I should be proud, because she is elderly and came declawed, but I want to go sleep somewhere else!
