Puppy cam! Yay!
Boyfriend and I actually just got confirmation that we are registered as a Foster Family for Miami-Dade Animal Services, so hopefully I will have some puppies and kitties in my life soon. I'm really looking forward to getting involved and helping some animals.
I'll need to buy a car soon as well - my "let's pretend I'm a millionaire" dream car is a Mini Cooper, but a Fiat is probably more my price range.
~ma and hugs to everyone having a bad day.
I'm trying to avoid a car payment, but if I pay off my credit cards, those payments should cover a car payment.
I'm always surprised that we don't have more Smart cars here in SF, and then I see one trying to go up one of the steeper hills, and I remember.
There are two Smart cars in my building's parking garage, and *both* have a motorcycle parked behind them. I'm convinced they just bought teeny tiny cars so they could fit their bike in the same parking space.
This episode of Poirot is Death on the Nile, and the main character is Emily Blunt in a blonde wig and an American accent. It's also got David Soul, who I'm pretty sure was either Starsky or Hutch.
So, self-appraisal. I am minded to put in the "areas needing attention" that I over-commit my time and need to take on less but I am not sure that's a good idea. Thoughts?
I am slowly being driven crazy by the professors I am working with on this class writing, "In the article entitled 'blah-blah-blah'" instead of just "In the article'blah-blah-blah'" in every single instance they use that phrase. Also, I don't think every test question needs to refer to the article where the answer is found.
T, maybe instead like "and need to be better about prioritizing" or asking for direction or whatever?
