One day I walked out of the library and a white Smartcar was parked next to my white Echo, so I took a picture, because that is the first and last time my Echo ever looked big.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Gud, I'm pretty sure the answer to 90% of your questions is: marketing.

Jesse I thought you were going to say because you weren't sure where the out of office meeting was!

Ha! I knew where it was because I went with my boss last time. And I did successfully find a buddy to walk with.

Ack. If you guys could spare a good thought for our dear friends (whose wedding I officiated last summer), that would be great. They have 2 kids (they're the husband's kids from his first marriage), and really want more, so they applied to be foster parents. They're ideal candidates -- C. used to work in social services, and now he works in public health for the state. Except he's also trans. And 6 weeks ago they were told by the foster agency (who LOVES them) that their application was all processed and they passed all the background checks and the home study and they were good to go. But now their application is having problems from the state level, and it's all on C.'s side. His wife has had no problems at all.

Goddamn Trump's America.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Does Ford have any idea what they are doing with the Lincoln brand?

I fear not. It seems they don't want to invest the money to come up with better cars. Or cars that are not based on Fords.

I like the Lincoln MKZ, but I also like the Ford Fusion that the MKZ is based on. If I were buying a new car now I'd get an MKZ or Fusion Hybrid.

I love my 2012 Focus that I bought new. It handles amazingly well and it's much quieter and has much better interior quality than other small cars in its class--or at least that was the case in 2011 when I bought it.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Fuck that shit, Teppy. There are kids who need safe loving homes, and I hope your friends get one of those kids soon.

Our wings are not tired.

I have a 2011 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and at 110K or so miles no complaints. It is big enough for my extra large family. It does however handle like a Lincoln and when I am driving our VWs I have a lot more fun zipping around corners and so forth.

I have been told it's National Puppy Day. I think we should observe with relish and panache.

Damn, Teppy. Best wishes for their getting through the beaurocrazy.
