Mine are relatives. And this one former teacher of mine who I usually interact with over STEM and women stuff and I can.not figure out why she was a Carson supporter and now Trump. But then, she and her husband got divorced for tax reasons, and then blamed Obama for the divorce. Um, she's a kook and I'm just staring at a trainwreck.

Hyundai Sonatas hold up pretty well too and they depreciate enough to have good used prices.
Kia Optima is pretty much the same car. I've taken mine from 60k miles to 140k miles in seven years, and it has held up very well. At the time I bought it, comparable Fords, Toyotas, and Hondas were all about 1/3 more expensive than what I paid for the Kia.
My dad is having surgery on his neck on Tuesday.
I somehow managed to skip over this earlier. Wow, msbelle. Tons of dad~ma will be heading out. I hope the procedure fixes him up and that the recovery is easier than anticipated.
Marry me, Rachel Bloom.
Awesomeness!
May the surgery team be at the top of their game for your dad, msbelle.
I just stress-ordered a bunch of fancy chocolate. Assorted milk and dark chocolate bars of rose with candied mint, orchid, lilac, and geranium. This totally makes me a rational grown-up, yep.
Yep. Totally rational adult thing to buy chocolates in fancy flavors. If you were a kid, 1) you wouldn't have a credit ot debit card to make the purchase with; and B) you'd buy Reese's or Snickers.
I have to hold monthly staff meetings to keep the staff up to date on training and other nonsense. My predecessor set the November meeting for this Tuesday at 9:15am. Yeah, no. I rescheduled the thing. I feel powerful. Next Tuesday, thank you. And let's make it earlier so we can be done earlier. (Don't know about anyone else, but I go home and nap before my shift.) Also I have an interview on Monday morning. By which I mean I am going to interview someone I might subsequently hire. Aaaaaaaaaaah!
As soon as I read "Marry me Rachel Bloom" the chorus to "Fuck Me Ray Bradbury" rang in my mental ears.
Dad ma~~` msbelle
I like my Whaler's rum - very dark - inexpensive. other rums are smoother, but i like the hearty flavor of whalers
Go, WindSparrow! Wield your power for good!
Oh, hey, it's later. I can look at those marked posts. I had kinda hoped to leave work early today, but instead stayed half an hour late because Stuff to Do. Sigh.
And now I'm going to stay up late to Clean All the Things (that are visible to a casual visitor) since I've got DirecT coming by tomorrow. I know if it were anyone else saying that I would tell them to relax and not worry about the judgment of a person who doesn't know this hypothetical not!me person at all, but, y'all, it's really an embarrassing level of squalor. It needs doing sometime, I'm never going to actually have surplus time to do it, so why not now? I've got spiral-sliced ham to nibble on, and a pizza I can pop in the oven, coffee, Diet Dr. Pepper, leftover Halloween candy, and I hope to God enough trash bags. And no other plans for the weekend, so once I get to an acceptable level of squalor I can sleep as long as I want.
Fingers crossed for your dad's surgery, msbelle!
Surgery~ma for your father, msbelle!
Marry me, Rachel Bloom.
That was fantastic! You know, it wasn't until I heard her on Wait, Wait that I put together that Crazy Ex-girlfriend was connected to Fuck Me Ray Bradbury [I feel like punctuating that is problematic and I'm not going to try]
Oh, I forgot to mention, Gingerbread Lattes at Starbucks! I am way more into these than PSL, personally.Nom-diddly-icious.
