Complete change of topic, but, people who buy dresses, where are the good places to look at for dresses?
If someone were to be, you know, looking for a dress...for Reasons...and is perfectly capable of making her own lace and very long dresses do not go well with beach weddings...I mean...yeah...so not necessarily the places all the people go look.
Happy Reasons! You can make lace? What kind?
Someone who might want a beach wedding dress (for instance) might want to look at eShakti. Are you looking for white, or another color/pattern?
White with embellishment: [link]
Pineapples, because why not: [link]
Off-white, with a flounce hem: [link]
Off-white, with a boat neck and bow at the waist (I LOVE THIS): [link]
Off-white tulle with satin underlayer (stay with me here) that's short and also has polka-dots (what, like I *wasn't* going to recommend a polka-dotted dress?): [link]
Video of the thing. Reportedly pretty adorable
I knit, and I've got over a year, so I'm thinking of making: This shawl in a long-fade...maybe white/cream to blue.
Ok. I've checked out eShakti. I will continue to poke around. Probably white/cream. this was the link I already had open.
I know I said it on FB, but: CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Shit, now I think I need this dress: [link]
I can't stop buying polka-dotted dresses, y'all.
t edit
Tim, looking over my shoulder: "YES, you need to buy that. Why is that a question?"
I guess, as long as you actually wear them?
Definitely not a problem with that.
I just saw that you said you had the eShakti link open for the dupioni dress -- I was going to post that one, but thought it might be too fancy. I really like that one! I'm a sucker for dupioni.
