Could just be a hoax, though. I fake some headaches, everyone gets used to poor helpless Spike. Then one day, no warning, I snap a spine, bend a head back, drain 'em dry. Brilliant.

It's either time for the biennial sewage line cleanout, or the main line got a little icy OR the snow and ice that blew up against the basement door melted inwards. Sigh. Tomorrow's shower will tell whether I need to make a home warrantee call...

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I hope the medical profession goes this way, as carrying excess weight is pretty much a family tradition for my (genetic) people.

Right? I did not say that I came from a long line of sturdy people, but seriously. We're Cajuns. We cook very good food.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

I was skimming, and my brain did that thing where it smushed a few posts together:

Though witch doctors are not covered under our insurance.

I hope the medical profession goes this way

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I admit, I had to read that run of posts a few times to be sure which way the medical profession might be going.

Huh. The good news is it wasn't the sewer line. Bad news it it something to do with the refill valve to the furnace. I think it is doing what it is supposed to, but I don't know why. Will put in a call tomorrow.

I mean, they are covering chiropractors and acupuncture these days, a lot of times. Witch doctors may be next. More affordable, with TrumpCare?

Oooohhh, I bet the expansion tank is full. I just let air out of the radiators the other night, and with this cold, furnace has been in full bore mode. But still need the tank drained...

Well, I've been digging through the comic collection, And except for a very few exceptions, everything is reading value only. Certainly not worth a comics store going to the trouble of packaging and storing. I think I'll get a better reception if I just take in the good stuff rather than trying to sell good stuff plus 20+ pounds of so-so stuff. There's always the Magic cards and the rest of the Warhammer figs. We were buying comics at the start of the "OMG, comics can be worth a lot of money, churn out as many variants and special issues as we can!" bubble. Even mint versions of these issues are below cover price.

Ah, well, keep what I like to read, recycle the rest.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Ah, well, keep what I like to read, recycle the rest.

I wound up giving big stacks of my comics to kids in my neighborhood so I didn't have to move them from LA to SF. I tried to imagine how I would have felt receiving that bounty as a kid.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

This is Plei's fault:

DINAO: John Boehner or Paul Ryan

FCM. Paul Ryan, Stephen Miller, and Sean Spicer.
