It's simple. I slap 'em around a bit, torture 'em, make their lives hell...Sure, the nice guys'll run away, but every now and then you'll find a prince like Spike who gets off on it.

I really want to be able to "like" ND's post.

One of the things I enjoyed a lot about my former peripatetic existence was getting to see Buffistas almost anywhere I went!

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

I found Buffy by randomly surfing channels on my tiny 13" tv in my sister's basement in the spring or summer of 1997. I remember the first episode I saw: it was "The Pack". Somehow I stuck around.

But I didn't find you all until I stumbled across Agnes' first thread on TT, where I had already been posting a bit. I posted under my real name there, and after a few years switched to a pseud when I realized I wanted to talk about fanfiction.

I have a ton of friends I met through fandom -- some Buffy, some XF, some Stargate. Some I can't distinguish. :-)

I watched "Welcome to the Hellmouth/The Harvest" tonight. It's still pretty great, although they all look SO YOUNG.

Anyway, {{hugs}} to you all.

And now I have to go to bed. Argh, I hate DST, although it was lovely to walk the dog in the daylight after getting home from work.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I was on Table Talk because of the Divorce threads and dealing with that in my life.

Drifted over to the Buffy thread and posted in the second TT Buffy thread. My first post was a spoiler and Dana responded by yelping, "My eyes!" So that was a good start. I remember Dana, Betsy, Vortex and Bev very early.

The first Buffy episode I watched was the one where Angel returned randomly from Hell after the credits rolled. So that wasn't as bad as starting on Restless, but it was fairly confusing.

I remember the migration to WX and that was the sauciest time and everybody was posting funny stuff every minute it seemed. Added lots of people there. I remember Herself, and Fay and Pleiades and SA coming on during that period.

I wound up buying the first three seasons on bootleg dubbed VHS from some college student at Brigham Young (of all places) which is who I caught up with the show. Still remember that box and putting Doppelgangland in first.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

DST means that my 6:45AM meeting is now at 7AM. Woot.

And my back hurts, and trying to find a doctor whose reviews aren't abysmal is a challenge. I haven't even gotten to the point where I call and am probably told they can't see me for two months.

Admin leave. Not that much snow, but ice on top.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have a proper snow day! So exciting.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm at work.

Punishingly Intricate

I'll be working at home like most Tuesdays. And not going out because my foot is still bandaged from surgery two weeks ago. And I have a cold. Wah wah eah
