Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I basically found the Buffistas on Table Talk, and followed them through WorldCrossing to here. I feel like a bad Buffista, in that I don't own the series on DVD, and haven't rewatched the eps at all. I think Seasons 6 and 7 have tainted my love for the show.(Not to mention that I don't like Spike, and he's all over those seasons)

In other news, we have an appointment to apply for a passport for Mr. S this afternoon.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Group gesture if affection!

I ended up with yellow, epic.

Sadly, by the time I got home I was too tired to watch and post it even watch or post (or lurk). So lovely to read the love fest this morning!

I can relate once more how I was in the wave of new people directed here by the save firefly thing.

Also, I would like some rosemary syrup now please. And perhaps a Bloody Mary. And a teleporting pony.

Because books.

I followed Topic!Cindy here from the Bronze: Beta, and immediately fell in love. The Bronze: Beta was my first internet family, but this board and you people were and are my one true tribe.

I remember when it clicked for me that Buffy was My Show: when she said "it's like your my fairy godmother and Santa Claus and Q" and DH was "what" and I said "Q from James Bond, not Star Trek" a moment before she did. Click.

I can't remember an exact moment when it clicked that you all are My People - there have been too many and it keeps happening!

Wow, Sheryl, a passport, how exciting!

I knew vortex IRL, who told me about tabletalk. That was a couple years after getting into Buffy through one of my college roommates (who had some internet group of her own because she got us the first season sent to her on VHS, after we got hooked early second season)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

When I discovered Buffy, I was also a Salon reader, so I think I remembered there was a Table Talk Buffy thread, and I checked it out.

Our wings are not tired.

I started watching Buffy late, maybe Season 4, then sought out the previous seasons. I found Buffistas on World Crossing. It was shortly after 9/11 and I was desperately seeking distraction from watching news. Y'all were such a delightful distraction. Back then Bitches was porn! Not as talky as it was 16 years ago, but still my favorite internet destination. You are my home.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I just realized I turned two into Buffistas.

And the rest were food?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I found Buffistas on Table Talk when I was searching for a pirated copy of Graduation Day Part 2. And sort of followed y'all ever since. It worked out pretty good for me. I would certainly not be with Tom or in New Orleans if not for Buffy and the board.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I brought shrift!
