Timelies all!

I am wearing a red shirt, purely by coincidence. I honestly didn't know about the "wear red" part of things and red was next up in the rotation. Went to work, since I had things that needed to be done. Gary's away on business, so I'm solo parenting.

I forgot to wear red, but I did go to my female dentist at her all-woman practice, so that counts.

No dishwasher bought tonight as Sears was picked clean (ours is closing next month) and Best Buy didn't have models that were a fit for both counter height and wallet, but at least we got out to wander around the mall and picked up fish for dinner.

There's always Lowe's :)

I had a meeting before work for this board I'm on, which wouldn't have been a problem except at 8:30 I got invited to a 9am meeting with a big boss, so I missed it. Yikes. I think it's OK, though??

Wait, which did you miss? Hope it's truly ok either way.

Have texted in sick. Feel like talking would be a bad idea. Leftover soup for breakfast could theoretically still heal me, but I'm not counting on it.

So of course I am curling up on the couch with a blanket and a bowl of soup to watch my DVD from the library. Looks like Still Life might be available via Acorn, Gamache fans.

Trees are down everywhere here! People have had roofs blow off their houses! It is a little nutty, but other than the bus being re-routed I haven't had any trouble-- I have electricity and my roof is still on my house.
