Well, a tornado was reported. I'm not certain there actually was one.
Wow, apparently from this morning's news, many.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

There is a dead squirrel in the road in front of my mailbox, which is bad enough on its own, but it was luring my patio cats to the road. I stood at the gate and called them until they apparently decided free fresh food was better and came back. I tried to find a number for Animal Control, but all there is here is people who get vermin out of your yard; there's literally no one who removes dead animals. VDOT will move a deer if it's causing a traffic hazard, but that's all. I'm annoyed and appalled. Now it's up to ME to put on gloves and get a shovel and go get the dead squirrel out of the road.
Oh, hell, no. I'm going to have my neighbor send her handyman over to do it. I'll pay him.
Oh hell no sounds about right!
Of course I did it. Went out with a shovel and my neighbor met me with her shovel and we got it into a trash bag. Fortunately today is trash pick-up day, so into the bin it went. Poor squirrel.
Gold stars for Zen and neighbor!
I wish that could be enough adulting for the day!
I am truly enjoying the lengthening days
Driving to work in daylight is glorious. And after this weekend, I'll be driving home in daylight and driving to work in mostly daylight for a few more weeks.
It is nice to commute in daylight. There's something kinda depressing about going to work in the dark and driving home in the dark.
My wife is getting ready to start her counseling practice. We acquired office space (well, technically, not until May). I've started work on a website and an education website (which is why I'm especially short of time).
I modeled the space in 3-D to help lay things out as she wanted me to do. It has the existing furniture, but more will be needed. I think it's pretty cool, but my wife seems kinda unimpressed.
I'm sorry, Zen. Gold star for stepping up and doing what needed to be done.
I am resisting getting attached to the extra daylight until after the time change since mornings are more critical for me, but there is something magical about leaving work while it's light out after months of not.
Speaking of mornings, it would be hard to overstate how much I do not want to leave my bed this morning. Do I say that every day? I think it pretty much every day. Particularly vivid and tiring dreams last night for some reason, so I don't exactly want to go back to sleep, but not rested and raring to go, either.
