I've been out of the abbey two days, I've beaten a lawman senseless, I've fallen in with criminals. I watched the captain shoot the man I swore to protect. And I'm not even sure if I think he was wrong.

Our wings are not tired.

but boy that instant 2-day shipping that sometimes turns out to be even faster sure does come in handy.

And Sunday delivery too, kinda irresistible for someone that hates shopping. DH says he draws the line on drone delivery.

What's non-odorized propane doing out in the wild where it could leak unnoticed?

Because people were complaining about the smell.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's a horrifying thought, Connie.

Sunday delivery continues to take me by surprise.

I was mildly stressed about being able to get everything ready for supplying foodstuffs for our monthly team-building thing tomorrow like I said I would, but it turns out that my co-worker was too busy to even put it on the calendar so I am off the hook. Ha!

We signed up for the 30 day trial of Amazon Fresh, because Pete's out of town and I don't drive. Having my locally made fancy yogurt delivered to my door (along with a bunch of other stuff) is kind of awesome.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Drs appts 2 & 3 done. I have 4 more months of meds assured and I still need to lose weight. Therapist was mildly concerned about how far I let my finances go, but agrees that I have a plan and as long as I stick to it doesn't see the need for anything else.

I picked up meds and a few groceries and am now home. Gonna knock out a movie, I think then see what I feel like.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've gotta admit, I use the heck out of Amazon Prime. It's especially useful around Christmas, when I'm shipping things straight to my sister's (I have never spent Christmas at home as an adult). Also, Chewy.com is great for pet supplies--free 2-day shipping if you spend over $45 which, in the course of a month, I always do.

Apparently he shouldn't have to fix errors he gets because errors didn't happen before.

How prelapsarian of him.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

How prelapsarian of him.

Well, dang. I haven't heard that word since the freak-ass church.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

My job is so funny -- the official dress code says that casual is never appropriate, but then they have these last-minute decrees of casual day pretty often, apparently. Like, tomorrow will be the second in the two weeks I've been here.

I had to look it up.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I read it in some 17th century poems way back when. But I had to look up how to spell it.
