Timelies all!
I'm not sure if I'm a morning person. I am capable of getting up early and functioning, but I don't like it much. Unfortunately, between Mr. S and the cats, I'm not able to sleep in.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

As HOA President, HAPPY! As resident, GRRRR.
The individual vs. the collective good! It's tough to live.
Burrell, that is awesome! Not the napping, the other thing.
eat a square of fudge, sugar rush, short nap
That's an excellent system! Much like how I get through my work day, but it's more "struggle to stay awake and work". Sorry the new roof is not silent or done with soothing sounds.
Ooh, Burrell, so cool!
Yes, it's happy-making
Less happy is the sore throat I am currently nurturing. bad!
I'm watching the American Experience documentary Oklahoma City, and it's actually got a lot about Ruby Ridge and Waco as well. If you're looking for a summary of 90s badness.
While perusing the discounted section of my supermarket the other day, I found little crocks of fondue cheese for two-thirds off and grabbed one, along with some nice chewy rolls for dipping. Tonight I bought three of the four remaining discounted crocks--mustn't be greedy--and once I've finished the fondue I'll have four very nice oven-safe ceramic ramekins in addition to nummy Jarlsberg fondue.
Connie, that sounds so good. Nom nom cheese. Melty cheeeeeese.
I bought the Trader Joe's Stilton for the cute little crock it came in. I know I can share my shame here.
Not that I don't like stilton or anything, but I wouldn't have bought it if it hadn't come in this
Super cute crock.
