All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I had leftovers from last nights Ethiopian takeout. There may be two more meals left in that "Vegetarian for One" order.

There is a kerfuffle surrounding another Chicago theatre company. An actress (who is a member of the company) backed out of a show two weeks before rehearsals start because of a better offer. This does happen. The artistic director threatens to blacklist her and badmouth her around the community. He does this on social media. Then they post a casting notice to replace her that says the character is "a spunky cockney maid in her early to mid-twenties, with a great body and pretty face". The community responds much as you would expect and this evening the AD posts a totally victim-blaming non-apology and promises to change the casting notice to "different verbiage". The show in question... Angel Street. The movie was called Gaslight.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Wow, aurelia!

I left my phone at work, sigh. But I remembered to stop for dog food, cat food, and -t-food on the way home, so we have all had dinner, hooray! I'll have my burger on Thursday, I guess.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Wow, aurelia!

Portuguese sweet rolls: I didn't know about them! I've never read a package of Hawaiian sweet rolls. I think I've only eaten them at other peoples' houses.

I hollow out the big loaves and use them as bread bowls for my spinach dip at holiday parties.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I can also only say: Wow, aurelia!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Morning all. Still not used to being a morning person. Stupid hospital causing new "habits". Hey, at least no chest x-ray happening right now. Tried going back to sleep, but heart rate is high (90's). To be fair (and not cause concern on y'all's part), that is *low* compared to before. Upon entering the hospital my heart rate was 130 sitting in a chair. And most of the time it was in the 110's. So. Progress. Just. Not enough to fall back to sleep at 5am. Le sigh. Morning person it is. Hopefully Mom is still sleeping. She had a nasty cough during the night. And hey, I can always have an excuse for a nap!!

Our wings are not tired.

Good morning! I changed to a morning person at some point, much to my shock and dismay. Now I find it a nice quiet time before the crazy noisy busy day. Thing with getting up super early is that I am nodding off by about 9.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I am not a morning person. I have cats.

I have cats and a financial assessment at work that starts at 10 am. Before that will be complete, I have to leave to accompany someone to a medical appointment. And then I work direct care until 11pm.

And tomorrow morning I have to be on the road by 7 am for training out of town.
