Well they've preemptively cancelled bus service, so I am having a snowday tomorrow. It's now a matter of whether I have to use a vacation day or not.

Some of you saw that I posted on FB that my neighbor's house had an estate sale going on. I had no idea what happened, I had only met this guy once in 6 years. Well today I went over and asked. He died in Aug!!!
So having already proven to his son and daughter-in-law to be an un-neighborly neighbor, I went through the house as one does. Totally different layout than my house and about 100 sq ft smaller. It has a pool which I had forgotten about.
They aren't sure if they are going to rent it or sell it, but it will be a couple of months before they do either. I gave them my # in case they need anything since they live 45 min away at least.

OMG! I am not sick (pretty much) for the first time in three weeks. I'm eating pot roast and veggies, and I can actually taste it. It's delightful! I want to taste all the (food-based) things now. So good!

Lucked into scheduling my meager 2.5 hours of weekend work to coincide with the company owner stopping by to gather materials for a presentation. So I look very industrious and got praise on the artwork for a project she hadn't seen the latest versions of. You know it's good when the person ultimately responsible for your salary asks "how long does it take you to do these?" in an incredulous voice.

Someone I graduated with just won a Grammy! He is part of Yo Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble. He also took my Cliff Notes for Heart of Darkness on the senior trip, so I am still a bit annoyed... (just kidding)
