Oh boy.
We've had a bit of that here too with people who are all fired up (great!) wanting to go demo outside PP and having to be talked down. Steered differently, rather. But mostly successfully and without the added complication of it being BLM.
Clinics have trained volunteer escorts for women coming in (I used to do that a lot of years ago) and anything that ups the chaos is usually counterproductive.
I bought a fairly cheap non-stick pan, admittedly didn't read any instructions, and didn't season it. It's been not sticking for a couple of years now.
Now there are a bunch of white guys on the BLM event page, arguing about whether or not it's a good idea to have the counter-protest. This is not helping anything.
Wow. Jason Chaffetz is doing a town hall, streamed live. Utah seems to be angry. [link]
I can't ntinue to be stunned at the political ignorance of my self proclaimed liberal officemates. They hadn't heard of Elizabeth Warren until the latest dustup with MacConnell (and couldn't even get his name right.) I just....um. They're good officemates for work reasons, but they're slowly figuring out they've got a quiet radical in their house.
Sue, btw, I'm totally serious, I would absolutely invest in a part ownership of that house. I'm sure it would be at least as good an investment as the random Motorola stock I own - less easy to liquify, but more potential for having an awesome place to stay in Nova Scotia, which seems like a fair trade.
Oh, wow, I think I am in love with that house, Sue! I could probably come up with 1/7 of 20% for a down payment...
WANT. So beautiful! I could put in some money on it.
In Sue's mansion, what is the urinal looking thing in the 4 pc bathroom? A urinal?
I think it's a shaving sink.
-t, I can't really seriously consider it, because I don't drive and it's not commutable otherwise and I'd have to live there to afford it. As an investment, the market is a kind of slow here, and worse I think in rural areas. I think property is a good longterm investment, we may be talking about a very long term investment here. But it is such a beautiful place. I hope whoever buys it preserves it's beauty.
