Support Free Speech and supporting Hate Speech are not equal ideas.
Now I have to look at the house pictures again. So pretty.

And there's always that one guy wearing shorts no matter the temperature.
I'll take any excuse to wear my ugg-type boots and knee socks (my feet are ALWAYS cold), but no matter how cold I am, I invariably see people wearing shorts or flip flops, or both. It's like since it's San Diego, they're in denial that chilliness happens.
It looks too tall to be a urinal...maybe a really small sink?
I thought that was a sink.
One of the guys in my dorm when I was in college was from Michigan and maintained that living in Southern California meant he could always wear shorts. And he always did. With tall white socks. It was his thing. Last time I saw him he was not, I think, wearing shorts, but that was in Seattle.
You are not being unreasonable, Gud.
I just got a new non-stick pan. The instructions say to season it (wipe the cooking surface down with cooking oil, gently heat, let cool, wash) before using. BUT IT'S A NON-STICK PAN! NOT HAVING TO SEASON IT IS PART OF THE POINT!
Or am I just really clueless about the proper care of non-stick pans?
Speaking as a cookware professional, Jilli, that makes NO SENSE. I hope it's not one of ours!
Okay, the internets say that you ARE supposed to season non-stick pans. That is really damn weird.
Ugh. I'm catching up on local political groups on Facebook, and we've got competing rallies this weekend. An anti-choice group is going to be protesting at Planned Parenthood. BLM planned a counter-protest, also right in front of Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood asked them to please not do that, because it will just add even more commotion and more people and more confrontation, and they want patients to feel as safe as possible while walking in, which won't really work if there are two rallies shouting at each other. Planned Parenthood scheduled another event at the same time, at a park down the street, with speakers about women's health issues and collecting packages of pads and tampons to bring to a homeless shelter. PP asked BLM to cancel their "Defend Planned Parenthood" event and join the event in the park instead. BLM refused. So, now we've got an anti-choice prayer vigil, BLM defending Planned Parenthood though not listening to Planned Parenthood, and Planned Parenthood collecting period supplies. Even if I didn't already have something else planned that day, I would be staying very far away from all of this.
Hil, is that the Planned Parenthood on Auburn?
Yep.
