All the fireplaces in that house make me wonder if it's quite drafty in the winter...

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I LOVE that house. It clearly needs work with the being sold AS IS note. still though, all that workwork.
The Judiciary. Our last hope. YaY!
That woodwork is gorgeous. But 7 bed/2.5 bath? Yeah, you'd want to do a lot of work.
Reality tv continues to be in the forefront of diversity on tv -- I'm watching some show about black veterinarians in Texas, and one of them is using a walker. I don't know if it's temporary or permanent, but I don't think they've mentioned it, which makes me think it's permanent.
OK the guy with the walker just said something about "my accident," so I guess it's temporary, but still.
It was on the market two years ago for $650K. I'm kind of wondering if it's an estate sale and it's been empty all this time.
You should definitely snap it up?
Other snow-day topics of thought! What's the over/under on when I start wearing pleated jeans again? I still think they are hideous and never did go for skinny jeans, so. I'm thinking at least five years if ever.
never did go for skinny jeans
I was driving through University of Cincinnati's campus today, and I saw a guy crossing the street wearing the bog-standard outfit a fraternity-type guy wears when he needs to be in "business" wear: khakis, a white shirt and striped tie, and a blue blazer. Except the khakis were cut like skinny jeans. It was not a good look. (Also, it was 24 degrees out and he wasn't wearing any kind of overcoat. MADNESS.)
Oh dear.
For the most part, college guys don't wear winter jackets until it gets close to 0. They seem to think that admitting that they're cold is like admitting defeat.
