Yes. Lucky for you, people may be in danger.

Isn't Diane Abbott some sort of cousin of ita's? "Diane Abbott tells Brexit minister to 'f*** off' after he attempts to kiss her in Commons bar after Article 50 vote" [link]

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I'm gonna need "Nevertheless, she persisted." on a t-shirt, like, now. I've been eyeing a "Nasty Women Keep Fighting" shirt on Etsy for a while, so I really I may as well just do a feminist shirt order and be done with it.

Coding and Sleeping

I broke down and bought a Tyson/Nye 'Make America Smart Again' T-shirt.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm also enjoying this one from Sarah D Bunting.

Our wings are not tired.

As horrifying as the entire DC situation is, I find reading the headlines from various news sources encouraging. (with a side order of where the hell were you a year ago) Yes, he is appointing insane advisers and cabinet heads, yes the GOP is blindly okaying all of it. BUT, most responsible news organizations are not accepting the lies, and I do believe the extreme thin skin will continue to be a source of ridicule. Major networks report his blubbering as falsehoods daily. And the activism is at a level I haven't seen since I was a teenager. Trying to keep hopeful.

My greatest fears remain the damage done to voting rights and court appointments because they are harder to fix. BUT the activism may do something to inspire the 50% of people that don't bother to vote to get out there and get registered. I have to believe that the majority of people don't support this.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

CPAP report, night 2: while I wouldn't say I got enough sleep, I do feel like "enough sleep" is an actual state that can end achieved by humans and possibly even by me, so that's a vast improvement. The longing to back to bed and work on achieving that goal is very strong.

But I really like my outfit today and had best go out in the world and be seen. This dress [link] red tights, knee-high boots, and dark jewelry. With the grey coat on top I feel very Cold War Spy. I have a feeling adding an umbrella is going to bring me into Avengers territory.

Cool looking dress! I want to see the whole ensemble on you!

Yeah, flea, I seem to recall she's one of the many extended family members of ita.

First world whining: The pop machine in the break room has one row of diet Coke, but the machine isn't currently recognizing that row. I was not the only person staring at that inaccessible row of liquid crack with an expression deep betrayal and bereftness.

Also, my new sreaming BluRay player is refusing to see my wifi network. Like W.C. Fields, I am forced to survive on DVDs and streaming TV on my computer.

ION, my mid-winter heating bill is a third of what it was in the house. As I hoped, the drop in utilities has matched the increase in rent, so my budget is still in good shape.
