Had consultation with hair salon today. The color guy tried to talk me into a brown/blonde balayage. I'm sure it would look lovely, but I want a color not found in nature, dude.
I was talking to my hair stylist about "trends" recently, and she is so psyched to do crazy colors!
Baylayage sort of looks like you're growing out a previous dye job in the most attractive way possible.
Not necessarily -- my highlights are balayage and they start all the way at my part. It's just the painting/no foil, I think?
I am tempted by extensions, but I'm not sure I'd be able to justify the cost.
Argh, my joints are feeling the barometric pressure yo-yo.
I should not have started this macro. Sigh.
I saw something, somewhere, on the internet where a woman had her hair dyed a couple of neon colors (yellow and green, if I remember correctly) that GLOW IN THE DARK.
I thought I could not do crazy colors, or any permanent color, because I currently use henna.
My most recent cut actually came out pretty great after 2 years of disastrous chop jobs on my new shoulder length and the stylist said I _can_ use color, if I don't retouch for 3 months.
Does anyone have experience with this? I'm afraid I'll end up with fried nubs if I mix potions.
If I can do a color, I definitely want to go outside the 'found in nature' palette. If not now, when?
If one were to put She Persisted shirts on one's cafepress shop. Would people want the full quote, or just "nevertheless, she persisted"
I like just "Nevertheless, she persisted." It encompasses the entire experience of being a woman.
