So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Yes. I'm still upset I can only get Caramel Delights and not proper Samoas.

WHAT???

God, that's just not right.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

OK, I haven't had those Oreos but I have had the similar offering from TJ's and let's just say it's a good thing I can only get it in small quantities seasonally.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Had consultation with hair salon today. The color guy tried to talk me into a brown/blonde balayage. I'm sure it would look lovely, but I want a color not found in nature, dude.

Yep. 70 here and snow tonight sometime. Then 70 again by Sunday.

End of days, indeed.

Speaking of the end of things. It's a weird time in so many ways.

I've been seeing a dementia patient every week for the last 21 months. He's an interesting character, but not one of whom I have grown particularly fond. He's difficult, but it's been an amazing thing, drawing him back to cognitive acuity. I honestly didn't think I could help him. It's nowhere near my skill set. Still, it's been great.

The contract is running out this month, so I have been planning termination. It was to begin last week. But the patient mysteriously fell ill with pneumonia. It looks like he is actually going to pass.

I had _just_ primed the family for his cognitive decline, probably within a couple of weeks of my finishing. And, I was concerned that he would feel abandoned by me. It seems it might not come to that and it's weirdly perfect for him.

Funny how things work out.
