A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Where my struesel fans at?!

I contend a really good coffeecake is God's true food, in that you are expected to eat cake for breakfast.

I have to keep off FB today, if I can.

Yeah, some people I went to college with are all, "Can someone explain to me why everyone's upset about DeVos????" And my only response is: if you've been paying attention this entire time like you say you have, then I don't have anything to fucking say to you.

"Can someone explain to me why everyone's upset about DeVos????"

Doesn't seem hard to figure that out. I think Sessions is the worst of the lot, though. Ben Carson is probably even more unqualified at HUD than DeVos is at education, but I don't think he's going to actually, you know, do anything. Tom Price is a pretty bad pick too, what with the profiting off of healthcare legislation he voted on.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I like your style, sumi. Both with desserts and goat chariots.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Fairly random question - the window and balcony door in my new apartment don't have acreens. Is that something relatively easy to add? I like fresh air but I don't so much enjoy the open invitation for small flying creatures. The building is only two years old.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

zuisa, since you're renting, I'd ask the landlord first.

I'm definitely planning on asking (I may watch a lot of HGTV but I'm not very handy :p ), but since this apartment is being given to us I don't even want to ask for stuff if it's going to be a major pain.

Depends on what's already there how much of a pain it would be to add screens, really, although there are things kind of like screen curtains that can easily be added as a temporary measure.

Yeah, and depends a bit on the setup/size of the windows and whether it's standard and stuff. But screens are key really. Maybe they're assuming no one needs fresh air and will use AC?

Am so over this "work" nonsense. Ugh.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just sent out my all-staff farewell note. I can't believe I still have to stay all afternoon. That's what I get for doing drinks after work on my actual last day!
