How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Our wings are not tired.

Pie! I can pass up cake easily, and cookies, but pie is the bestest.

I have to keep off FB today, if I can. My rage level is way over the top. Eye is twitching. I don't think more coffee is going to help either, but that is where I am headed now.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

It depends on the specifics of the pie or the cake for me. Given a choice of all desserts, I'd probably pick ice cream first.

I'm done with winter and would like it to go away now please. It's messing with my week and my pain levels.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Odd, we apparently refer to Girl Scout Cookie types differently in Massachusetts - my favorites are Peanut Butter Patties, which you all called Tagalongs. I haven't had any in years... I think I need to go find a Girl Scout.

I was watching msnbc last night while the Warren drama went down and I am livid. If reading the words of Coretta Scott King written in the 1980s are "impugning a Senator", well that that person probably just isn't qualified to be AG???

I sadly haven't read the full text of her letter yet but I will make sure to do that today.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Is this the thing were there are two manufacturers of Girl Scout Cookies? Regardless, I also sold Peanut Butter Patties, not Tagalongs.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am just hearing about this Warren business now from y'all, so - wait, what?

I am all about mousse. Foams and airs and whatnot, I love them. Whipped cream in any way shape or form. Jello topped with Cool Whip, yes. Puddings and even sorbets and ice cream are just approximations of mousse to me.

IOW, tell me more about aquafaba!

I do like a good pie and/or a good cake. And I like even indifferent cookies. Also lovely ripe berries with no embellishment. Dessert is good.

I am also deeply in favor of breathing. First night trying the CPAP and while I did not sleep great in the sense that I spent more time awake than I would prefer, I'm feeling very well-rested. Amazing!

Oh, I had thought they changed names at some point, but probably I just moved. Whatever you call them, they are quite good, but I feel like there are more similarly satisfying chocolate-pb products out there than Thin Mint analogues.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes. I'm still upset I can only get Caramel Delights and not proper Samoas.

Aquafaba! I made it on a whim because I was making something else with a can of chickpeas, so it was saltier than might be ideal (you would want to get the low-salt kind), but it is seriously magic. I just drained the can into a bowl, and it whipped right up into stiff peaks! Once I folded the chocolate in, it was a little looser than I might like, but then I froze it, and that is also great! Next time I'm going to make straight meringues with it.

Ooh, I forgot all about that, nice! I need to play with that.

I love, btw, the Chantilly Chocolate or whatever it's called, that's just dark chocolate and hot water. Just get the proportions right and whip into mousse, it's magical.

Art Crawl!!!

I feel that there is no rational reason to be choosing between desserts: cookies with cake and ice cream. And pie - for the fruit -it's healthy.

ETA: Connie - ever since you made that comment about Thor and his goat-driven chariot I have been imagining Chris Hemsworth's Thor in a tiny (goat-cart sized) chariot and now I really want to see this.
