Yes, I just saw that picture.

I'm going to buy *two* boxes of frozen macarons from the grocery store. Mad decadence!

edit: a dozen per box for $8. The green tea matcha ones were surprisingly good.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just had the yearly review! Boss loves me, says I'm one of his go-to people.

That is so great!!!

I haven't interacted with my new boss much, but already the majority of those interactions were her contacting me for help. So, points in my favor?

Thanks to y'all, I bought some TJ's macarons a couple of days ago and somehow they are already all gone and I didn't share with anyone. Ooops.

But, I have avoided Girl Scout cookies. The rest of the family has purchased, but I asked them not to offer them to me.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

The tornado was in New Orleans East...I was about to say "fortunately", but that's terrible. But it means that it wasn't in the city proper, where Buffistas and my family are.

Edit: Also, super fun to learn about these things by someone marking themself as safe on FB.

One of my friends brought a bunch of Girl Scout cookies to the Super Bowl and I was surprised how little I liked them. I mean, I still ate a bunch. But they weren't all that great??

But, I have avoided Girl Scout cookies.

Man, my coworkers have been feeding me Girl Scout cookies all day. Possibly because I announced that I was bedraggled and grumpy when I arrived at the office.

Random: driving goats! . . .or goat driving. . .

Traditionally, Thor's chariot is drawn by goats.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I have Girl Scout cookies on order -- should make plans with my cousin to get them!

And a coworker took me for coffee after my party, where I had cake, and I got that chocolate cherry macaroon from ABP, and it was delicious! So thanks for mentioning it, brenda (?).

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Clearly, they weren't Thin Mints, which are the GREATEST OF ALL COOKIES.
