Somehow, the Riverdale teens being supposed sophomores pings me as even more absurd than 90210 Luke Perry. Not sure why.
I think for me, it might be that I was in middle school when 90210 was on, so the characters were all supposed to be older than me anyway? (I mean, not 20 YEARS older, like the actors were, but occupying the same general "basically adults I guess" place in my brain.)
Yeah, I used to like Brady, but first there was Spygate, then Deflategate, then it looking like Brady was going to appeal all the way to the Supreme Court to get his suspension dropped. It feels like entitlementjust radiates off him in waves.
The Trump affiliation doesn't help either. (Though I say as a hater I think he got shafted in Deflategate.)
If you're looking for a favorite Patriot, may I suggest Martellus Bennett? He said he won't go to Trump's White House and also buys books for kids: [link]
In other news, I just signed up for Hello Fresh if anyone wants a discount code.
Goodness, some straight white cis dude on a friend's FB page is trying to explain how the current administration is not anti-LGBT. He tried to prove his point by posting an article from the Advocate listing 12 countries where the government kills people for being gay (I guess the implication being that, hey, the current US government doesn't have an official policy in place to kill gay people, so therefore Trump LOVES Teh Gayz).
That is the point where I decided to duck out of the conversation, because when someone whips that out as "proof," that's evidence you're talking to a wingnut.
Oh, new comment from him! "You have to factor in that gay people protesting against Trump because they are liberal and hate his fiscal conservativism and immigration policies."
I genuinely don't know how to respond to that.

Nice! Also, DH was rooting for one of their players from here that he says is a great guy. (memfault on who)

Pointing out how many people believe that selling a cake for a same-sex wedding is unconscionable religious persecution?

Nah, he specifically mentioned bakeries and said they shouldn't be forced to sell their product to people they have religious disagreements with. He also said Trump's immigration policies are to protect all Americans, including LGBT people (like, he specifically said "including LGBT people"), from terrorism.
I legit stepped away from that post, because I have too much work to do to let my day get derailed by a Trumpster.
