Zoe: Planet's coming up a mite fast. Wash: That's just cause, I'm going down too quick. Likely crash and kill us all. Mal: Well, that happens, let me know.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I often want to poke things that are just out of reach. Starting to be sad I sold all my swords.

brillig

I still have my two-handed bastard sword, called Present, which was a Christmas present from my beloved thirty years ago, and I have Sting hanging on the end of a book case. The sword I used for the cheese is a battered Knights of Columbus ceremonial sword I found in a thrift store.

I can't even.

I love the sword stories, obvs.

I had ambitions a couple of years back about buying a good quality katana (for home use). The research is a little daunting.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Now I feel inadequate using a broomstick to turn my fireplace on and off like a chump. The only "sword" I own is katana letter opener. Which I do use frequently, but it is wee.

Waiting on a class to learn how to do this sleep study thing. Trading Adderall for methylphenidate, mentioned I have been having trouble staying asleep -> sleep study and blood draw. Already did the draw. Might get a flu shot on the way. Ack to my car, since I'm here. Whee.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

That's a lot of TCB, -t!

All unexpected! I am going with it.

Ok, so weird: using a company website/program/thingie. Type in the box. It automatically spellchecks, apparently. Fine. But it underlines incredibly random words (like "replacement") that are spelled right....and then when I click to see what the suggested word or spelling is, it's the same!? And if I click accept, it no longer underlines it. But it hasn't actually changed. Wtf.

Coding and Sleeping

Sounds like the software has unrequested features.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Just saw this:

What, they don't make tuna-flavored medicine?

Yes, they do. After his kidney transplant, Arthur's liquid meds were tuna-flavored. On the other hand, we had to get those meds from a compounding pharmacy.

Not that it helped a whole lot. At best, his attitude toward meds were, "Okay, you got me. Get it over with. Unless I'm able to spit something out."

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My sister's car is mad for mint. She'll try to steal your gum if you're not careful.

I love this typo.

Susan, that's where I had my echo last summer. I find the campus confusing.
