We work regularly with H1 Visa holders. One of our programmers last night was saying that he and a number of his friends are talking seriously about opportunities in Canada. It is colder in Canada than Florida, but living in fear is a chilling experience too.
I am on a more hopeful swing at the moment. There is real resistance from many directions, not just the snowflakes. Republicans, CEOs, and world leaders are pushing back. Maybe dysfunction will keep him from achieving his goals?

The Koch brothers of all people are taking Trump to task over the immigration ban.
I do think it's got to help that this is immediately affecting academics, doctors, other "elites."

I suspect that the confusion comes from the fact there was no coordination, and it was implemented late Friday, so the people who provide guidance weren't available. And, of course, there are assholes in CBP, and in the WH.
But I have no idea what's going to happen next.

I cannot possibly believe that calling Ted Cruz and John Cornyn will do anything, but I guess I have to try.
I have no faith in them. We need Republicansome to break ranks and for Dems to hold strong. I don't know if that can happen.
