Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Jesse, as I was reading that, my brain was shouting YOU HAVE US, and then you said it. I am ever so grateful to the buffista hive for all the support we ask for and give to each other.

I bought a cord of wood yesterday which they dumped in our driveway and the four of us moved to the shed in the back yard. It was 30 degrees or so and man, that was a rough go, but we did it. Then lit a nice fire in the fireplace and made smores.

Today, I'm stuck upstairs and am supposed to be doing homework. Well, I am. Just taking a break. I am determined to be 80% done with this week's work today, then polish it up tomorrow. I must come up with a better plan for getting school work done through the week instead of just pounding on the weekend.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

The nice thing about that is that there're always a bunch of us here to just waiting listen and support but no one person, who may be freaking out themselves, is on the hook like your coworker.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I will say, I assume it's less emotional labor for you all to read or not read my posts vs. my poor coworker having to talk her partner down 2-3 times a day on the phone!

Two bags of leaf debris and I sawed up a buncha branches into pieces the trash guys will take. Now if the people who wanted the free litterboxes would come get them off my porch, that'd be great. I was downstairs scrubbing them at 10 last night so they could get them early today.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

I took an AARP sponsored Defensive Driving course today (it will lower my insurance costs) and woah nelly - over half that class was listening just to respond - "I have a story...", "I've heard this...", "This one time...". Class was 4 hours long (it is required to be at least 4 hours long), teacher was fine, but absolutely DID NOT go through everything in the book. Class could have been 3 hours, easy, so that requirement is bs.

While at class the internet router miraculously started working, so I have cancelled the service call. no call, no $$.

mac is mad at me, because he got busted calling a friends' parents for a ride somewhere when he had not even asked me. This is the grandparent raising the grandchildren who is his friend. They grandparents almost never so no to the kids and have done things I have asked them not to because "they kids asked" and "we don't mind". She is a nice person, but completely co-dependant and afraid of the kids being mad at her. Trying to get her to respect my rules was not working and I did not want to start a fight, so I have put it all on her, he goes over there all the time, spends at least one night a weekend over there. Her calling me to "let me know" he had called her for a ride, and to "see if that was ok, because she was running errands now and would be a little late" was her way of saying I am getting sick of this. She won't say it to the kids, god forbid.

So he got an earful of "she is NOT your taxi service" and he got mad and tossed a few things around the house before I got home. Apparently him going wherever was not that important because now he is hold up in his room and says it doesn't matter about the ride.

ION - I am going to see La La Land with some friend tonight and then Lion tomorrow.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Oh, doctor with online forms I'm filling out. The only options for "Salutation" are Mr., Mrs., and Dr.? Really?
