In the background, Jayne just explained the 'chain of command'...which is the chain I go get to beat you with until you understand who is in ruttin' command here.'
Sigh.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, butt kicking, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I am in complete ostrich mode today. No FB, no live tv or at least staying off any channels that would have news and/or live coverage. I can already feel my spine crawling up into my neck but if I take any of my anxiety meds, I'll be asleep and I have work/school to do.
So, in la-la-la distraction effort - what should I do for my 49th birthday next month? I want to DO something, not just go out to dinner. My original thought was to do a Canvas and Cocktails type painting thing, but since my birthday is 5 days before Valentine's Day, all the paintings they are teaching are lovey-dovey type stuff. Pass. I thought about maybe a comedy show but most of the places around here a kind of expensive. Hmmmmmm. Ideas???
Okay. Shoot me an email at my profile addy if you need some help.
Paging Teppy - can I mix Adderall and Lorazepam? I need to focus AND chill out but my gut says these are non-mixy things. Your thoughts?
Since I have real time tv on instead of TiVo or Netflix, I'm seeing more commercials than usual. And I gotta say, the add for data-cap free streaming featuring the space-obsessed little girl is adorable.
Cheers, Gud. I absolutely will.
Jeebus. Suzi, can I have that combo?
Like really...I need that.
can I mix Adderall and Lorazepam?
You can, actually.
Oh, the TNG episode with the lack of REM sleep just ended and the one where Geordi becomes lizard man is starting. Enjoying. (I am behind so I can FF through commercials) The part about watching TNG while working that is best is that I barely have to pay attention because I know them all so well.
Bushwacked is on my screen. Might be too tense for this morning, actually.
I just tried to get Cagney to go outside. It's 11:36am...he politely declined. With a bit of grumbling.
Man. How did I get such a lazy pooch? And so intransigent.
Boy looooves his comfort.
Kato went outside with a little help (a towel looped under his belly in case his back legs didn't want to cooperate) and basically no real problems. He was slow, but fairly steady on his feet. He's stoned on his new higher dose of tramadol, but he'd rather face the inauguration with a good buzz.
