I learned something important yesterday: that the expiration date on unsweetened cocoa powder is not optional. Argh. I'm too old to spend that much time on the bathroom floor.
I'm not feeling well enough to go to chorus rehearsal tonight, and we're halfway through the season and I don't love any of the songs we're doing. Considering quitting now and rejoining next season...
I'm so sorry the cocoa powder betrayed you, Consuela. You have enough to deal with this week.
Timelies all!
I...think the worst of this cold is gone, and I'm back to my usual level of congestion/snot-having. (Of course, with Mr. S in daycare, who knows what I'll get next.)
In other news, I just scheduled a meeting at 7:30am because time zones are cruel.
Cocoa going bad seems especially sad.

Seriously! Ugh, poor you.
My pork/chili hybrid is quite good! Not chili, but a delicious pork stew with beans and corn.
Cocoa powder betrayal? Huh, I totally wouldn't have thought that was likely! I would've also gone "meh, expirations are for things that mold"
Oh, no Consuela! I would not have thought cocoa powder would do you like that.
I don' t know what else it could have been, but I didn't eat anything else and started feeling bad only an hour after the hot chocolate. That said, I threw away the pie crust I was making, just in case it was contagious.
Ugh no, consuela. Bad cocoa seems like an affront.
