Book: Yes, I'd forgotten you're moonlighting as a criminal mastermind now. Got your next heist planned? Simon: No. But I'm thinking about growing a big black mustache. I'm a traditionalist.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I meant to, but I had a visitation to go to tonight.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I've worried about the nonsecure areas in airports as attractive soft targets for years now.

Our wings are not tired.

Things are still a logistical mess at FLL. Local paper says 10,000 people were bused to the port where Red Cross coordinated transportation and housing and so forth. Airport says it has 20,000 unclaimed bags to get to people. People ran without their carryons or phones. People didn't get on their cruises or connecting flights and have no housing or bags. And of course the many dead and injured that were arriving for vacation or business trips. A mess.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I wouldn't say I've worried, but I've definitely thought about it - mostly in the context of being aggravated at the security theatre when it's not like you couldn't just walk in and find big crowds bottlenecked together, were you of a mind to.

Terrible thing to happen.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Decided not to go to the nursing home, as it's started snowing, and apparently isn't going to stop? So that seems like the right call.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

It's been snowing all morning, but it's pretty light. Party starts at 2:30, so I'll see how things are then. Right now Mr. S is napping, and I had wonton soup for lunch.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Snowing here in CT. Light but steady. Supposed to go all day.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't remember the last time I literally didn't leave the house all day. I LOVE IT.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Of course, now I feel like baking, but that will not contribute to my goal of having my jeans fit properly again. Ah well.

Ha HA! My mother was like, "I called you an hour ago," and I was sure I had looked at my phone within the last ~45 minutes, and my phone proves me right.

No, you can't talk to me instantly even though you are calling my cell phone.
