Wesley: We were fighting on opposite sides, but it was the same war. Fred: but you hated her…didn't you? Wesley: It's not always about holding hands.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Yes to earplugs, too

My mother went to see The Beatles when they played Cincinnati Gardens in 1964. She was 14! (Note: I don't think she appears in this clip: [link] )

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Re emus - remember, these are the birds that essentially won a war with the Australians. Maybe not intellectual, but smart about surviving.

Yeah. Turns out it's a lot harder to kill an emu with a machine gun than one might think.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Ugh, I'm congested again. Also have a headache.(which wasn't helped by Mr. S hitting and head-butting me in the face.)

Because books.

Burrell, how long will you be here? I wish I could see you! The forecast says snow is possible on Saturday, and it is supposed to be cold -- low 30s, high 20s -- just FYI.

Lisah, I'm crying. It was the incoherent ubidahgabba right after the 5minute break.

There was a house that had emus and ostriches in my brother's old neighborhood in Texas. Ostriches were ok, but the emus regularly escaped and would chase the neighborhood dogs. But the emu farm near my parents, those emus are nice. I think they think they are burros(they are raised with burros.)
